Genesis 1:1-2 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. And the earth was formless and void, and darkness was over the surface of the deep; and the Spirit of God was moving over the surface of the waters. (NASB)
I wonder how many bible readers actually notice that all of this happened BEFORE the first day. The earth could have been millions of years old before God created light, and wasn’t it the light that marked the first day? Maybe the light just started the calendar of time, but not the existence of the earth. So, maybe scientists were right about the earth (dirt) being a gazillion years old. Just sayin’….
